What are your hours?

Office hours are by appointment only, Monday- Friday.  For urgent matters or emergencies I may be available on Saturday or Sunday.  I can usually accommodate requests for appointments throughout the day or evenings and will work with your schedule.  Flexibility of your schedule that allows for daytime appointments usually ensures greater likelihood for an earlier appointment.  Appointment cancellations require a 24 hr advance notice to avoid a charge for the missed visit (regularly charged rate will apply).

Which insurance do you accept?

This office accepts no insurance and payment is due at the time services are rendered.  I can provide a billing statement for you to submit to your insurance company and any reimbursement you may be due will go directly to you.  I would encourage you to discuss your specific insurance questions with your carrier.  For your convenience, most credit cards are accepted for payment.

Are you taking new patients?

Yes, I am currently accepting new patients.

Do you work with children?

I provide psychiatric services to adults and adolescents from sixteen years of age.

How often should I see a psychiatrist?

The frequency of treatment varies from individual to individual based on any number of variables and specific issues and needs.  I provide individual, couples and group psychotherapy as well as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS).

For medication management only, those who do not require medication changes and are doing well will be seen no less frequently than every 3 months. Otherwise, appointments will be scheduled as is deemed medically appropriate.
